How it works

From template to signed in three steps

No printing, no scanning, no chasing. You stay in control of the document; the people signing just open a link.

Prepare

Pick a template, fill in the details — or pull them from a Google Sheet — and review the finished document before it goes anywhere.

Send

Add the signatories and send. Each gets a private link, confirms who they are with a code sent to their email, and signs on any device.

Done

Everyone gets the signed PDF. You also get an evidence package: who signed, when, from where, and a timestamp anyone can verify.

What you get

Everything between “draft” and “signed”

Signetec is more than a signature box. It is the whole workflow, with a record you can stand behind.

Templates that fill themselves

Build a template once with merge fields and swappable content sections. Generate a correct, personalised document in seconds instead of editing a copy by hand.

Signing that works on a phone

Signatories draw, type or upload their signature. They can also complete the fields you leave for them, such as an ID number or a choice from a list.

An evidence package, every time

A PDF with the signed document, each signatory’s record, the full audit trail and the blockchain proof — ready for a dispute, an audit or a file note.

Timestamps nobody can rewrite

The fingerprint of every document is anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain with OpenTimestamps when it is generated. Anyone can verify it independently — without us.

Built for teams

Organisation accounts with roles (Admin, Manager, Agent, Viewer), branches and seats. Agents see their own documents; managers and viewers get the oversight.

Connects to what you use

Keep templates in Google Docs and pull client or property details from Google Sheets, so nobody retypes data twice.

Who it is for

Made for work that runs on paperwork

Signetec began in South African property, where a signed mandate decides who wins the listing. It suits any business that sends the same kinds of documents again and again:

  • Property agencies — mandates, FICA consent forms, disclosure forms and service agreements.
  • Professional services — engagement letters, quotes and client consents.
  • Employers and HR — employment paperwork, policy acknowledgements and POPIA consent.
  • Landlords and small business — rental addenda, supplier and customer agreements.

Know what can be signed electronically

South Africa’s Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) allows electronic signatures on most documents, but not all. For example, agreements for the sale of land — such as offers to purchase and deeds of sale — must be signed in ink under the Alienation of Land Act, and Signetec must not be used for them. Read our FAQ and the Acceptable Use Policy, and ask your legal adviser when in doubt.
